Role Overview & Description
We are seeking an experienced Storage Tank Design Engineer for a leading contracting company in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, engineering, inspection support, and technical coordination of aboveground storage tanks in accordance with API 650 and API 653 standards while ensuring compliance with project specifications and international engineering practices
Key Requirements & Responsibilities
• Design aboveground storage tanks in accordance with API 650 and support inspection, repair, and alteration activities as per API 653.
• Perform detailed calculations for tank shell, roof, bottom, nozzles, wind, seismic, and foundation loads.
• Prepare engineering documents including material requisitions, MTOs, design calculations, technical specifications, and fabrication drawings.
• Review vendor documents and coordinate with fabrication, inspection, and project teams throughout project execution.
• Ensure compliance with API standards, client specifications, project quality requirements, and applicable international codes.
