Role Overview & Description
We are seeking skilled Mechanical Fitters for a major Power Plant Shutdown Project in Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for the dismantling, inspection, repair, assembly, and installation of mechanical equipment while ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Key Requirements & Responsibilities
• Dismantle, inspect, repair, assemble, and install pumps, valves, compressors, turbines, heat exchangers, and other mechanical equipment.
• Perform alignment, fitting, bearing replacement, gasket replacement, and mechanical adjustments.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, assembly drawings, and technical manuals.
• Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance activities during shutdown operations.
• Follow permit-to-work procedures, HSE regulations, and maintain high-quality workmanship.
