Role Overview & Description
Responsible for installation, testing, maintenance and troubleshooting of fire-fighting systems, including pumps, sprinkler systems, hydrants, hose reels and related equipment.
Key Requirements & Responsibilities
- Install and maintain fire-fighting piping, valves and equipment.
- Maintain fire pumps, jockey pumps and diesel pumps.
- Inspect sprinkler, hydrant and hose-reel systems.
- Troubleshoot pressure, leakage and mechanical problems.
- Conduct testing and maintain service/inspection records.
Required Skills & Expertise
Fire pump operation and maintenance.
Sprinkler and hydrant systems.
Pipe fitting and valve maintenance.
Pressure testing.
Knowledge of fire-fighting standards and safety procedures.
Education & Study Field
Diploma
ITI / Vocational / Trade Certificate
