Role Overview & Description
Responsible for installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance of Fire Alarm Systems in commercial, residential and industrial buildings.
Key Requirements & Responsibilities
-Install fire alarm panels, detectors, MCPs, sounders and modules.
-Perform testing, commissioning and programming of fire alarm systems.
-Troubleshoot faults in panels, loops, devices and wiring.
-Conduct preventive maintenance and system inspections.
-Prepare testing, maintenance and service reports.
Required Skills & Expertise
Fire alarm panel programming.
Conventional and addressable systems.
Loop testing and fault finding.
Knowledge of detectors, modules and sounders.
Ability to read electrical/fire alarm drawings.
