Automation Technician

Technician (ELV / CCTV / Fire & Gate Automation) Job Description: The Technician is responsible for executing and supervising all on-site technical activities related to ELV systems, CCTV, Gate Automation, Fire Alarm, and Fire Fighting systems. The role includes installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of systems while ensuring high-quality service standards and customer satisfaction. The candidate must have extensive hands-on experience in the same field and the ability to independently handle site work, coordinate with teams, and complete projects within deadlines. Key Responsibilities: 1. Installation & Maintenance Install, configure, test, and maintain CCTV systems, including cameras, DVR/NVR, cabling, and networking. Execute installation and maintenance of ELV systems, access control, intercom, structured cabling, and automation systems. Install, test, and troubleshoot Automatice Gates, Fire Alarm and Fire Fighting systems. Perform routine preventive maintenance and attend breakdown calls. 2. Technical Supervision & Coordination Lead and guide junior technicians at project sites. Coordinate with supervisors and project managers for task updates. Ensure work is completed as per project specifications and safety standards. Identify technical issues and provide effective solutions. 3. Site & Quality Management Conduct site inspections before and after installation. Ensure proper usage and maintenance of tools and equipment. Maintain quality standards and follow safety regulations. Prepare daily work reports and submit updates to management. 4. Customer Support & Documentation Provide technical support to clients when required. Maintain records of installations, service reports, and materials used. Support in project handover and system demonstrations to clients. Requirements: Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in ELV, CCTV, Fire Alarm, Fire Fighting, and Automation systems. Strong experience in CCTV installation and troubleshooting (IP & Analog systems). Ability to independently handle site work and supervise a small team. Candidate preferably from Kerala, India. Valid Indian driving license (mandatory). Physically fit and willing to travel for site work. Age: 25–40 years (preferred) Job Type: Full-time Work Location: In person
